Duane Crosland is active in his local church as a Catechist, Eucharist Minister, member of the Knights of Columbus Council 9139, Perpetual Adoration participant, a “40 Days for Life” organizer and a parish coordinator for Feed My Starving Children packing three million meals sent to God’s starving children around the world. After 35 years with Ameriprise Financial at the age of 62, Duane realized that he was a ‘coasting’ Catholic unable to verbally answer the question as to why he was a practicing Catholic. He is a product of sixteen years of Catholic education – a graduate of the University of Saint Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota, the Archbishop Harry J. Flynn Catechetical Institute and JustFaith.
